Rainproof Essential Case

Indian cycling demands gear that handles more than just dry roads. Whether you are navigating Pune's monsoon-slicked streets, packing light for a Coorg weekend ride, or heading out for a 100km day in Chennai's relentless heat, a reliable, rainproof pocket case keeps your essentials — cash, cards, phone, keys — dry and accessible without a second thought. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Elite in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The Rapha Rainproof Essential Case is built for riders who refuse to let India's weather dictate their schedule. In a country where a sunny morning in Lonavala can turn into a full downpour by noon, having a genuinely waterproof pouch for your valuables is not optional — it is essential. Compact enough to slip into a jersey pocket, it handles humidity, monsoon rain, and the dust of Delhi's rougher roads without complaint. Riders doing brevets or multi-day Western Ghats routes will particularly value the peace of mind it offers.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a pocket pouch rather than an apparel item, so there is no size chart to navigate. What matters is ensuring it fits comfortably in your jersey's rear pocket or a small bag without creating pressure points on longer rides in India's heat. If you layer it with other essentials, check that the combined bulk stays manageable for rides above 35°C.

Compatibility Notes

The Rapha Rainproof Essential Case is designed to work independently — no mounting hardware or bike-specific fitment required. It slots into standard cycling jersey rear pockets or can be placed inside a saddle bag or frame bag. All Rapha products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised. Wipe clean with a damp cloth; avoid machine washing.

Pairs Well With

Consider pairing this case with a compact multi-tool, a quality saddle bag for longer storage needs, a set of waterproof cycling gloves for monsoon rides, and a reliable mini pump. Together, these cover the essentials for self-supported riding across any Indian terrain.
