11 Speed Chain

The KMC 11 Speed Chain is a precision-engineered drivetrain component built for reliable shifting and long service life. Whether you are grinding up the Western Ghats, logging training kilometres around Pune, or commuting through Chennai's humid streets, a quality chain is the foundation of a smooth, efficient drivetrain. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable chain construction for repeat training use.

Race day. Optimised chain for clean shifting and minimal drivetrain friction.

Replacement intervals. Replace at chain stretch to protect cassette and chainring wear.

Our Take

KMC chains have earned a strong reputation among Indian cyclists for good reason. India's combination of monsoon grime, dust on highways, and 35°C+ summer heat punishes cheap chains quickly. The KMC 11 Speed Chain holds up across those conditions, delivering crisp gear changes and consistent performance. For riders clocking serious kilometres — be it Lonavala sportives or Leh touring — this is a sensible, dependable choice that reduces roadside headaches.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Chains are not sized by body measurements but by drivetrain speed compatibility. Confirm your groupset is 11-speed before purchasing — mixing speeds causes poor shifting and accelerated wear. Chain length should be set during installation; most road and MTB 11-speed groupsets from Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo are compatible with KMC 11-speed chains. When in doubt, cross-check with your groupset's compatibility guide.

Compatibility Notes

This chain is designed for 11-speed drivetrains. It is compatible with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo 11-speed groupsets. Replace the chain at 0.5–0.75% wear measured with a chain wear tool; delaying replacement accelerates cassette and chainring wear. During monsoon season, clean and re-lube weekly using a wet-condition lubricant for best results.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain setup with a quality chain lubricant suited to Indian conditions (wet lube for monsoon, dry or wax lube post-monsoon), a chain wear checker tool, a chain quick-link compatible with 11-speed, and a cassette from a matching speed groupset. Available at Cobbled Climbs with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.
