14/15g Spoke Wrench - Blister Card

Every serious home mechanic and club workshop in India knows that a correctly tensioned wheel is the difference between a bike that tracks true on Pune's expressways and one that wobbles through Lonavala's descents. The Icetoolz 14/15g Spoke Wrench, presented on a blister card for retail clarity, is a compact, purposeful tool built for truing and tensioning spokes on the most common double-butted spoke gauges in use today.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For Indian riders who wrench at home — whether in Chennai's heat or a Delhi apartment — this spoke wrench fills a genuine gap. Road surfaces across India punish wheels constantly, and regular truing is maintenance reality, not luxury. The dual-gauge design means one tool handles the spokes found on most road and entry-level MTB builds. At Rs. 650 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, this is a sensible, no-drama workshop addition that earns its place in any toolkit.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a hand tool, not a sized garment — but fit still matters. The wrench is designed to seat firmly on spoke nipples to prevent rounding. Before use, confirm your wheel's spoke nipple size by checking with your wheel builder or the spoke manufacturer. Using a wrench on the wrong nipple size risks damage; the 14/15g designation covers the most widely used double-butted and straight-gauge spokes on road and entry-level wheels sold in India.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for standard brass and alloy nipples on double-butted and straight-gauge spokes of the corresponding gauge sizes. Not suitable for very fine-gauge competition spokes or oversized nipples. Works with both square and hex nipple profiles where gauge matches. Store dry — monsoon humidity can cause mild tool corrosion; a light wipe with a dry cloth after use keeps it in good condition.

Pairs Well With

Round out your wheel-maintenance kit with a quality truing stand for accurate tensioning, a spoke tension meter for consistent builds, a set of hex keys and a torque wrench for thru-axle and rotor bolts, and a good chain lubricant suited to Indian monsoon or dry conditions.
