2-notch Single Speed Freewheel Remover

Single-speed and fixed-gear riders across India know the frustration of a stubborn freewheel that refuses to budge without the right tool. The Icetoolz 2-notch Single Speed Freewheel Remover is a dedicated workshop and home-mechanic essential, purpose-built to remove 2-notch single-speed freewheels cleanly and without damaging the hub or threads.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

For single-speed commuters in Delhi, fixed-gear riders in Hyderabad, or urban cyclists in Pune running stripped-back builds, having the correct freewheel remover is non-negotiable. A mismatched tool risks rounding the notches and writing off a hub. IceToolz makes this specific, affordable, and done right. At Rs. 690, it belongs in every single-speed mechanic's drawer — this is precision over improvisation.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a workshop tool, not a wearable — sizing does not apply. However, verify your freewheel's notch pattern before ordering: this tool is designed specifically for 2-notch single-speed freewheels. If you are unsure whether your freewheel uses 2-notch engagement, contact Cobbled Climbs before ordering. Our team can confirm compatibility based on your brand and model.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with standard 2-notch single-speed freewheels commonly found on urban, fixed-gear, and entry-level commuter bikes. Works with a standard bench vice or a suitable wrench for use. Not intended for multi-speed cassettes or splined freewheels — check your freewheel type before purchasing. All IceToolz products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

Complete your single-speed workshop setup with a chain whip for freewheel removal assistance, a bench vice for secure tool engagement, a chain wear indicator to monitor drivetrain health, and a quality bicycle lubricant for thread preparation and reassembly.
