2025 UCI Road World Championships Baselayer

Training through Pune's summer heat, grinding up Khandala's ghats, or spinning through Chennai's humidity demands a baselayer that pulls its weight. The Santini 2025 UCI Road World Championships Baselayer carries the prestige of cycling's biggest annual event into everyday Indian riding — technical fabric, moisture management, and construction that holds up through repeated washing and India's demanding climate swings.

Use Cases

Hot conditions. Lightweight wicking base layer for under jerseys in 35°C+ Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Chennai heat.

Cool weather rides. Thermal base layer for Delhi, Pune, and Bengaluru winter morning starts.

Long rides. Moisture management for full-day rides where sweat regulation defines comfort.

Our Take

In India's 35°C+ heat and monsoon humidity, a baselayer isn't optional — it's what separates a comfortable ride from a miserable one. Santini's UCI World Championships Baselayer moves sweat away from skin efficiently, dries fast, and keeps its shape across many wash cycles. For riders on the Western Ghats or doing early-morning intervals in Delhi summer, this is a smart piece selected for Indian conditions — functional, durable, and carrying genuine race-day credentials.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Santini sizing follows European standards, which run noticeably slimmer than Indian or Asian equivalents. Most Indian riders should go one size up from their usual — if you wear M in local brands, start with L in Santini. Riders above 90kg or with broader shoulders should size up further. In India's heat, a slightly relaxed fit also aids airflow, so err on the larger side.

Compatibility Notes

Works under any cycling jersey — road, gravel, or MTB. The silicone hem gripper keeps it tucked under bib shorts without bunching. Machine wash at 30°C with mild detergent; avoid fabric softener, which degrades moisture-wicking fibres. Hang to dry — tumble drying shortens fabric life. During monsoon, store completely dry to prevent mildew.

Pairs Well With

Complete your kit with matching bib shorts for a locked-in fit, UV-protective arm sleeves for long sun-exposed climbs toward Ooty or Coorg, a well-ventilated road helmet for hot-weather rides, and a lightweight cycling cap for early-morning starts. Available at Cobbled Climbs with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500 and cash on delivery across India.
