2x Elite Link Shift Derailleur Cable Kit

The Jagwire 2x Elite Link Shift Derailleur Cable Kit is a precision cable housing system built for riders who demand consistent, crisp gear changes ride after ride. Whether you're grinding up the Western Ghats, commuting through Pune's traffic, or logging long training kilometres in Chennai's coastal humidity, reliable shifting starts with quality cables.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Jagwire's Elite Link technology stands out for its low-friction liner and durable outer housing — a genuine difference-maker on India's mixed road surfaces where dust, monsoon grime, and heat all conspire against drivetrain performance. If you've been tolerating sluggish shifts or indexed friction on your current setup, upgrading to this kit is one of the most cost-effective improvements you can make to a mechanical groupset. Recommended for riders in Hyderabad, Bangalore, and anywhere monsoon riding is a reality.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a cable kit, not a sized garment — but compatibility still matters. Confirm your groupset speed (10, 11, or 12-speed) and shifter brand before ordering. The kit covers front and rear derailleurs. Mixed-brand setups such as Shimano derailleurs with SRAM shifters typically function but verify before purchase. No heat or fit adjustments needed; cable tension is set during installation.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with mechanical road and mountain groupsets across 10, 11, and 12-speed configurations. Works with Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo mechanical shifters — confirm your specific speed count. Not designed for electronic (Di2, eTap, EPS) drivetrains. Replace cables annually or after any monsoon season in high-humidity cities like Kolkata or Mumbai for best longevity.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain service with a quality wet-condition chain lubricant suited to Indian monsoon riding, a chain wear indicator tool, a workshop-grade cable cutter for clean housing ends, and bar tape or grip tape if a full cockpit refresh is due. All available at Cobbled Climbs.
