6-groove Spoke Wrench

Spoke tension is the foundation of a true, reliable wheel — and getting it right requires the correct tool for the job. The Icetoolz 6-groove Spoke Wrench is a compact, purpose-built tool that fits six common spoke nipple sizes, making it an essential addition to any home workshop or on-the-road repair kit across India's varied cycling terrain.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Indian roads — from Pune's crater-sized potholes to the steep descents of Ooty — put wheels under constant stress. Spokes work loose, wheels go out of true, and having the right spoke wrench on hand saves a ride. The IceToolz 6-groove design covers the most common nipple sizes you'll encounter, making it a genuinely practical tool for Indian riders who self-maintain their bikes. At Rs. 350, it's an easy decision.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a tool, not a garment — sizing here means nipple compatibility. The 6-groove design covers the most widely used spoke nipple sizes found on wheels sold in India, from entry-level builds to mid-range road and MTB wheelsets. Before ordering, check your spoke nipple size; square nipples and hex nipples require different tools. Most standard factory wheels use nipple sizes this wrench accommodates.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with standard brass and aluminium spoke nipples across road, gravel, and MTB wheelsets. Works with both round and bladed spokes depending on nipple type. Not suitable for internal nipple systems requiring specialist access tools. Store away from moisture — especially relevant during India's monsoon months — to prevent any surface wear on the tool head.

Pairs Well With

Round out your home workshop with a quality truing stand for accurate wheel building, a spoke tension meter for precise builds, a set of tyre levers for mid-ride puncture fixes, and a compact multi-tool for on-the-road adjustments. Together, these cover the most common wheel and bike maintenance needs.
