785 Huez Rival AXS Disc Road Bike

The Look 785 Huez RS Rival AXS Disc is a carbon road bike built for riders who are serious about performance. Pairing Look's lightweight carbon frame engineering with SRAM's wireless Rival AXS groupset and hydraulic disc brakes, this is a complete system designed for climbing, sportives, and long training days — not a collection of components bolted together as an afterthought.

Use Cases

Race day. Race geometry and pro-level component spec for competitive efforts.

Daily training. Endurance geometry and comfort for repeat training rides.

All-road and gravel. Versatile platform for road, gravel, and bikepacking in India.

Our Take

The 785 Huez was designed with climbing in mind, and that translates beautifully to Indian riding. Whether you're grinding up the Ghats out of Pune, tackling the switchbacks near Ooty, or building training volume on the quiet roads around Coorg, the carbon construction keeps the bike light while the Rival AXS wireless shifting removes cable clutter and maintenance friction. Disc brakes are the right call for Indian conditions — wet descents and monsoon riding demand reliable stopping power.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Look uses a numeric seat-tube sizing system. Indian riders tend to have longer inseams relative to torso length compared to European averages, so consult Look's geometry chart carefully and cross-reference with your stack and reach measurements. If you're between sizes, size down for an aggressive race position, or size up for comfort on longer endurance rides in heat above 35°C. A professional bike fit is strongly recommended after purchase.

Compatibility Notes

The bike ships with SRAM Rival AXS electronic groupset and hydraulic disc brakes — ensure your chosen pedals match your cleat system (Look KEO or SRAM-compatible 3-bolt). AXS components require charging; carry a USB-C cable for travel. First-service inspection is recommended after the initial 100km to check torque settings on carbon components.

Pairs Well With

Complete your setup with a quality road helmet for safety on fast descents, clipless pedals matched to your shoe system, a cycling computer for tracking climbs and power data, and lightweight road cycling shoes. A track pump and CO2 inflator are essential home-maintenance additions for Indian road conditions.
