785 Huez Rs DISC Frameset

The Look 785 Huez Rs DISC Frameset is a climbing-focused carbon road frame built for riders who take their ascents seriously. Named after the iconic Alpe d'Huez, this frameset brings race-bred geometry, disc-brake capability, and refined carbon construction to riders who want a purpose-built climber without compromising on all-weather versatility.

Use Cases

Race day. Aerodynamic and stiff construction for competitive efforts.

Daily training. Comfort and reliability for repeat training rides.

All-road and gravel. Versatile geometry for road, gravel, and all-road exploration in India.

Our Take

The 785 Huez Rs is a climber's frame with clear intentions. For Indian riders tackling the Western Ghats, the Nilgiris above Ooty, or the long Leh valley ascents, a frame that prioritises power transfer and light feel over aero bulk makes genuine sense. Disc brakes add real-world confidence on wet Ghat descents during monsoon season, where rim brakes can feel unpredictable. This is a frame selected for purpose, not prestige.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Look's sizing follows European conventions — measure your inseam and torso length carefully and cross-reference the official geometry chart using stack and reach. Indian riders often find European medium sizes generous; if you are between sizes, lean smaller for a race-oriented position or larger for all-day comfort on routes like Pune to Mahabaleshwar. A professional bike fit is strongly recommended before building.

Compatibility Notes

Confirm the bottom bracket standard, headset specification, and seatpost diameter before purchasing components. The disc brake mounts follow flat-mount convention — verify your calliper compatibility. Tyre clearance accommodates wider rubber suited to variable Indian road surfaces. Contact Cobbled Climbs for full build guidance before ordering components.

Pairs Well With

Complete your build with a quality electronic or mechanical road groupset, a carbon wheelset selected for climbing performance, a lightweight carbon seatpost and saddle combination, and a matching stem and handlebar set sized to your fit measurements. Cobbled Climbs stocks all categories for a single-source build.
