785 Shimano Riderever Sport Organic DISC Brake Pad

Wet monsoon roads, fast Ghat descents, and the relentless heat of Indian summers demand braking components that perform consistently. The Jagwire 785 Shimano Riderever Sport Organic DISC Brake Pad is a precision-engineered replacement pad designed to deliver dependable stopping power and confident modulation across varied terrain and conditions.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For riders tackling the Western Ghats between Pune and Mumbai, or navigating Chennai's rain-soaked urban streets during monsoon, brake pad quality is not a minor detail. The organic compound on this Jagwire pad offers progressive modulation — meaning you control your deceleration rather than grabbing abruptly. At Rs. 540 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, this is a straightforward, value-driven maintenance upgrade for Shimano disc brake users.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This pad is specifically designed for compatible Shimano disc brake calipers — confirm your caliper model matches before ordering. Sizing here means compatibility, not physical fit. Indian riders in high-humidity zones like Kolkata or coastal Chennai should inspect pads more frequently, as moisture accelerates compound wear. Check rotor diameter (140mm, 160mm, or 180mm) matches your frame and fork specification.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for compatible Shimano hydraulic disc brake calipers. Organic compound suits standard metallic rotors — do not mix with carbon-specific rotor surfaces. Shimano hydraulic systems use mineral oil; confirm your caliper is mineral-oil compatible before any bleed service. Post-mount and flat-mount caliper frames are separate considerations from pad compatibility.

Pairs Well With

Complete your brake service with compatible disc rotors in your required diameter, Shimano mineral oil for hydraulic bleed maintenance, a brake bleed kit, and a torque wrench for precise caliper and rotor bolt installation. Brake-specific cleaning spray is also recommended for Indian road-dust conditions.
