795 Chainstay Protector

The Look 795 Chainstay Protector is a dedicated frame protection accessory designed specifically for Look's 795 road bike. Keeping your chainstay free from chain slap marks and paint damage is essential maintenance for any serious rider, and this purpose-made protector ensures your frame stays in showroom condition through hard training and long Indian road rides alike.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable chain construction for repeat training use.

Race day. Optimised chain for clean shifting and minimal drivetrain friction.

Replacement intervals. Replace at chain stretch to protect cassette and chainring wear.

Our Take

India's roads are unforgiving — chain slap on Pune's broken tarmac, Lonavala descents, or the rough patches outside Chennai can scar an expensive carbon frame quickly. This protector is a small investment that guards a significant one. Purpose-made for the 795, it fits without guesswork, stays in place, and keeps your chainstay looking clean through monsoon grime and summer heat. A no-brainer addition to any 795 build.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a frame-specific accessory made exclusively for the Look 795 — there is no size selection required beyond confirming you own a Look 795 frameset. Fit is direct and straightforward. No heat or climate adjustments are needed; the adhesive and material are designed to handle temperatures well above the 35°C+ conditions typical of Indian summers in Delhi, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible exclusively with the Look 795 road frame. Not suitable for other Look models or third-party frames. Clean the chainstay thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol before application for maximum adhesion. Avoid applying in direct sunlight or high humidity — allow the adhesive to cure before riding.

Pairs Well With

Complete your 795's protection and finishing kit with frame protection tape for other high-contact zones, a quality cable rub guard, silicone frame protector sets for the fork and down tube, and a dedicated carbon frame cleaning kit to keep the finish pristine.
