A/c SS Bb86/92 Bottom Bracket Kit

The Enduro A/c SS Bottom Bracket Kit is a precision bearing solution for BB86 and BB92 press-fit shells — one of the most common standards found on modern road, gravel, and performance hybrid bikes across India. If your drivetrain feels rough, creaky, or sluggish on the climbs out of Lonavala or the long flats into Pune, worn bottom bracket bearings are often the culprit. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Shimano in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

India's riding conditions are hard on bearings. Monsoon grit, dusty roads, and the stop-start of city riding in Delhi or Hyderabad accelerate wear inside press-fit bottom brackets. Enduro's stainless steel bearing construction makes a real difference here — offering better corrosion resistance than standard steel alternatives. For riders who service their own bikes, this kit is a worthwhile investment that keeps the drivetrain spinning smoothly through India's varied seasons.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a component fitment, not apparel. The key fit question is shell compatibility: BB86 shells measure 86.5mm wide, BB92 shells are 92mm wide, both with 41mm inner diameter. Check your frame's bottom bracket specification — typically listed in the bike manual or on the manufacturer's website. Road frames from European and Taiwanese brands commonly use BB86; many mountain and gravel frames use BB92.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for BB86 and BB92 press-fit shell standards. Compatible with cranksets using a 24mm spindle (Shimano standard) — verify your crank spindle diameter before ordering. Requires a press-fit bottom bracket installation tool for correct fitment; do not hammer in by hand. Stainless steel construction suits humid and monsoon-season riding conditions. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you need to confirm compatibility with your specific frame and crankset combination.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain service with a quality crankset, a compatible chain, and a bottom bracket press and removal tool set. A chain lubricant suited to Indian conditions — wet lube for monsoon months, dry lube for summer — rounds out a thorough drivetrain overhaul.
