A/c SS Bb90 Bottom Bracket Kit

The Enduro A/C SS BB90 Bottom Bracket Kit is a precision-engineered bearing solution for road and gravel bikes using the BB90 press-fit standard. Built with stainless steel bearings, it addresses one of the most neglected maintenance points on a bicycle — the bottom bracket — where contamination, humidity, and poor roads accelerate wear faster than riders expect. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Shimano in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

India's riding conditions are genuinely punishing for bottom brackets. Monsoon silt in Pune, red-laterite grit on Coorg climbs, and the year-round humidity in Chennai and Kolkata push bearing surfaces hard. Enduro's stainless steel construction resists corrosion better than standard options, making this kit a sensible upgrade for riders who put in serious kilometres. At Rs. 4,499, it costs far less than a creaking drivetrain that ruins every pedal stroke.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a BB90 bottom bracket — a standard used primarily on Trek road frames. Sizing here means frame compatibility, not body size. Confirm your frame uses the BB90 shell before ordering. No European-to-Indian conversion applies, but if you are unsure of your frame standard, contact Cobbled Climbs — our team can verify compatibility quickly and accurately.

Compatibility Notes

Designed specifically for BB90 press-fit shell frames. Works with standard crankset spindle diameters common across Shimano and SRAM road groupsets — verify your crankset spindle spec before purchasing. The stainless steel bearing construction handles India's heat and humidity well. Professional installation is recommended for press-fit standards to avoid bearing damage during fitting.

Pairs Well With

Complete the drivetrain service with a quality bottom bracket press tool, compatible road or gravel crankset, chain lubricant suited for Indian monsoon or dry conditions, and a drivetrain degreaser for regular cleaning. Keeping the full drivetrain serviced together extends component life significantly.
