A/c SS Bb90 Gxp Bottom Bracket Kit

The Enduro A/C SS BB90 GXP Bottom Bracket Kit is a precision-engineered replacement bearing solution designed for riders who refuse to compromise on drivetrain smoothness. Whether you're grinding up the Western Ghats or logging daily kilometres through Pune or Hyderabad's traffic, a well-serviced bottom bracket is the foundation of an efficient, quiet drivetrain. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Shimano in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

Bottom bracket creaks are the enemy of every serious cyclist, and in India's heat and humidity, standard press-fit bearings deteriorate faster than most riders expect. Enduro's stainless steel bearing construction resists corrosion through monsoon seasons and dusty road surfaces alike. For BB90 shells paired with GXP cranks, this kit is a technically sound, long-lasting upgrade over stock bearings — worth every rupee at Rs. 4,499.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bottom brackets are sized by shell standard and crank spindle compatibility, not body type. The BB90 shell is a press-fit standard used in specific Trek and compatible framesets; GXP refers to SRAM's crank spindle diameter. Confirm your frame's shell standard and your crankset brand before ordering. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you're unsure — incorrect fitment cannot be returned once installed.

Compatibility Notes

This kit is designed for BB90 press-fit shell frames paired with SRAM GXP cranksets. It is not compatible with threaded BSA shells, PF30, or Shimano-standard spindles. Installation requires a proper bearing press tool — never hammer bearings into the shell. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion well in India's humid coastal and monsoon conditions.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain service with a SRAM GXP-compatible crankset, a quality bearing press and removal tool set, a chain wear indicator and replacement chain, and a dedicated drivetrain degreaser and lubricant suited to Indian conditions — wet lube for monsoon, dry lube for summer months.
