Active Headband

When the temperature climbs past 35°C on a Pune–Lonavala climb or a humid Chennai morning ride, sweat control stops being a minor concern and becomes central to your performance. The Northwave Active Headband sits under your helmet to manage perspiration, keep your eyes clear, and add a layer of comfort that pays back across every kilometre.

Use Cases

Under-helmet sweat management. Absorbs forehead sweat in 35°C+ heat across Mumbai, Pune, and Chennai conditions.

Sun protection. Peak shields the eyes and forehead from direct sun on long Indian summer rides.

Style and finish. Completes a coordinated kit for daily rides and group rides.

Our Take

For Indian riders dealing with heat, humidity, and long saddle hours, a dependable headband is one of those small kit investments that quietly earns its place. The Northwave Active Headband is built from performance fabrics that wick moisture efficiently, making it well-suited to sweaty conditions in cities like Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, or on the exposed Ghats passes. At Rs. 1,990, it is an easy upgrade over generic options available locally.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Northwave sizing follows European standards. For headbands, measure your head circumference and compare against the Northwave size chart. Most Indian riders find a standard size fits well, but those with a larger head circumference should size up. In extreme heat, a slightly relaxed fit improves airflow under the helmet without compromising sweat-blocking placement at the brow.

Compatibility Notes

The Active Headband works across all cycling disciplines — road, gravel, and mountain biking. It is designed to sit comfortably under any helmet without creating pressure points. Machine washable per the care label; use a mild detergent at a gentle cycle and hang dry. Avoid fabric softener to preserve the technical moisture-wicking properties of the fabric.

Pairs Well With

Round out your hot-weather kit with a well-ventilated road helmet, a lightweight breathable cycling jersey, UV-protective cycling cap for post-ride use, and a quality pair of cycling gloves for grip on humid bar tape. All available at Cobbled Climbs with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.
