Aeroshade XL Spare Lens

Riding in India means contending with searing afternoon sun, gritty road dust, and light that shifts dramatically from dawn climbs to Ghat tunnels. Replacing or swapping a lens on your Scicon Aeroshade XL keeps your eyewear performing at its best without replacing the entire frame — a smart, cost-effective choice for serious cyclists.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The Scicon Aeroshade XL Spare Lens is a practical investment for Indian riders who put serious kilometres on their sunglasses. Whether you're logging early morning laps in Pune, descending into Lonavala, or grinding through Chennai's midday heat, a scratched or damaged lens compromises both clarity and UV protection. Having a spare gray polycarbonate lens means you're never sidelined by avoidable wear. Selected for Indian conditions, this lens replacement option makes long-term ownership genuinely sensible.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This spare lens is designed specifically for the Aeroshade XL frame, which follows a one-size-fits-most adult fit. The XL designation means slightly wider coverage — well suited for riders with broader facial structures common across many Indian riders. The large lens format also provides more coverage against dust and low-angle sun during Deccan plateau morning rides or coastal Chennai routes.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible exclusively with the Scicon Aeroshade XL frame. The lens material is polycarbonate, offering impact resistance and UV filtering. Clean only with a microfibre cloth and dedicated lens solution — avoid paper towels, household cleaners, or abrasive materials which will damage lens coatings. Store in a hard case when not in use.

Pairs Well With

Complete your eyewear setup by pairing this spare lens with a well-ventilated road cycling helmet, a sweat-wicking cycling cap for under-helmet use during hot Hyderabad or Delhi summer rides, a quality microfibre lens cleaning cloth, and a hard protective eyewear case for travel and storage.
