Sizing for Indian Riders

Saddle width should align with your sit-bone measurement. Sit on a piece of cardboard, mark the two dimples, measure between the centres, and add approximately 25mm for a working saddle width. Most Indian riders fall in the 130–155mm range. If you ride in a more upright position — common on Delhi and Ahmedabad commuter routes — consider a slightly wider option for better sit-bone support.

Compatibility Notes

The Akero R uses a standard rail clamp interface. Confirm your seatpost clamp accepts the rail profile before ordering. Match seatpost diameter to your frame — common sizes are 27.2mm, 30.9mm, and 31.6mm. If fitting to carbon rails, observe the manufacturer's torque specifications to avoid rail damage. A small amount of fore-aft and tilt adjustment can significantly change comfort.
