Alicante Unisex Cycling Gloves

Cycling gloves are one of those kit items that quietly define your ride quality. The Santini Alicante Unisex Cycling Gloves address the everyday demands Indian riders face — sweaty palms on humid descents, vibration from rough tarmac, and the need for breathable contact points through the punishing heat of summer and monsoon season alike.

Use Cases

Daily training. Padded palms and wicking back for repeat use on training rides.

Long endurance rides. Vibration-dampening and grip support for full-day rides over rough Indian tarmac.

Cold weather riding. Insulated construction for Delhi winter and high-altitude rides.

Our Take

In conditions ranging from Pune's sun-baked plateau rides to Ooty's misty climbs, hand comfort is non-negotiable. The Alicante keeps things practical — breathable construction manages sweat at 35°C+, while adequate palm coverage absorbs road buzz from India's variable surfaces. At Rs. 2,625 with free delivery from Cobbled Climbs, this is a sensible, well-considered glove from a brand with deep roots in competitive cycling.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Santini follows European sizing, and Indian riders tend to have wider palms relative to hand length. If you measure near the boundary between two sizes, go up. Measure hand circumference around the knuckles for the most reliable fit. In hot conditions, hands can swell slightly on long rides, so a marginally relaxed fit is preferable to a tight one.

Compatibility Notes

Works across road, gravel, and endurance cycling disciplines. Machine washable — follow the care label, typically a cold or 30°C gentle cycle with mild detergent; hang dry and avoid fabric softener to preserve the technical fabric performance. Pairs with all standard handlebar setups and bar tape types.

Pairs Well With

Round out your contact-point kit with a quality cycling jersey, breathable arm warmers for early-morning Lonavala or Coorg starts, a well-ventilated cycling cap, and performance cycling socks. All available across 250+ brands at Cobbled Climbs.
