Alien S31 Function Tool

Breakdowns don't wait for convenient moments. Whether you're grinding up the Western Ghats near Lonavala, navigating Pune's potholed stretches, or deep into a Delhi winter morning ride, the Topeak Alien S31 Function Tool puts 31 functions in your saddle bag — enough to get you home without flagging down a rickshaw. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Form in India.

Use Cases

Workshop use. Reliable tool for home or workshop bike maintenance.

On-the-road repairs. Compact construction for carrying on Indian rides.

Drivetrain service. Specific tool for chain, cassette, or bottom bracket maintenance.

Our Take

For Indian riders who venture beyond city limits, a capable multi-tool is non-negotiable kit. The Alien S31 covers the full spread of Allen keys, screwdrivers, Torx bits, chain breaker, and spoke wrenches that roadside repairs demand. At Rs. 6,299 it sits in serious-tool territory, and it earns that position with build quality that handles repeated use across dusty, humid, monsoon-soaked conditions without the tool heads rattling loose or stripping.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Multi-tools don't come in body sizes, but hand size and grip strength matter. The Alien S31's folding body gives good use for Indian riders dealing with bolts that may have seen heat-expansion cycles from 35°C+ summers. The compact form fits any standard saddle bag without bulk issues. No European sizing conversion needed here.

Compatibility Notes

The Alien S31 covers Allen keys, Torx, flathead, Phillips, chain breaker, and spoke wrenches — compatible with the vast majority of road, MTB, and gravel drivetrains on the market. Verify your specific bottom bracket and cassette lockring tool requirements separately, as those occasionally need dedicated tools beyond a multi-tool's scope.

Pairs Well With

Round out your roadside repair kit with a quality mini pump or CO2 inflator, a tubeless repair kit or spare inner tubes, a compact saddle bag to carry it all, and a selection of quick-links for your chain standard. Together these cover nearly every trailside or roadside mechanical you'll encounter.
