Allegro A2

The Jamis Allegro A2 is a hybrid bicycle built for riders who want one capable machine for commuting, weekend rides, and light fitness training. At Rs. 54,990, it enters a segment where component quality, geometry confidence, and real-world durability matter more than weight savings — making every rupee count on varied Indian road surfaces.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The Allegro A2 suits Indian riders looking for a dependable all-rounder — equally at home on Pune's ring roads, Chennai's coastal flats, or a weekend roll through the outskirts of Ahmedabad. Its hybrid geometry encourages an upright, comfortable position that reduces fatigue on longer urban rides in 35°C+ heat. For riders stepping up from a basic city bike, this Jamis offers noticeably better component quality and ride confidence without crossing into pure road-race territory.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Jamis sizing follows seat tube length or S/M/L conventions; measure your inseam and height before ordering. Indian riders with shorter torsos relative to height often find a size down provides better reach. For upright hybrid riding, a slightly larger frame is acceptable. Riders between sizes should favour comfort over aggression — size up. A professional bike fit is strongly recommended after delivery.

Compatibility Notes

The Allegro A2 ships as a complete bike requiring only minor final assembly — typically handlebar alignment and wheel installation. Pedals are not included; choose flat or clipless pedals based on your preference. After the first 100 km, a first-service inspection is advised to check cable tension and bolt torques. Annual servicing maintains warranty validity and component longevity.

Pairs Well With

Round out your setup with a quality helmet suited to hybrid and urban riding, ergonomic grips or a padded saddle for long-distance comfort, puncture-resistant tyres suited to Indian road surfaces, a floor pump with pressure gauge, and front and rear lighting for early-morning or evening rides around city limits.
