Allegro A3

The Jamis Allegro A3 is a hybrid bicycle built for riders who want one capable machine across multiple terrains — commutes through Pune's crowded lanes, weekend rides on the Bangalore-Mysore highway, or relaxed tours through the Nilgiri foothills near Ooty. At Rs. 39,990, it sits at a price point where component quality and frame engineering genuinely start to matter.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

The Allegro A3 makes a strong case for the hybrid category in India, where road surfaces shift from smooth expressway to potholed side street within a single ride. Its geometry balances an upright riding position — useful in stop-start city traffic — with enough efficiency to hold pace on longer weekend runs. For riders in Chennai or Hyderabad dealing with 35°C+ heat, the relaxed fit reduces upper-body fatigue on sustained rides. A thoughtful entry into serious cycling.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Jamis uses either seat tube length or S/M/L sizing depending on the model variant. Indian riders tend to have shorter torsos relative to leg length compared to the European average, so pay close attention to reach and stack numbers on the geometry chart. When between sizes, prefer the smaller frame for a more responsive ride. A professional bike fit after delivery is strongly recommended.

Compatibility Notes

The Allegro A3 ships as a complete bicycle — drivetrain, wheels, and contact points are already specified and matched. Pedals are not included; choose flats or clipless pedals based on your preference. First-service inspection after the initial 100 km is advised to check cable tension and bolt torque. Annual servicing maintains both performance and warranty validity.

Pairs Well With

Complete your Allegro A3 setup with a quality helmet for daily protection, clipless or flat pedals matched to your riding style, a saddle bag and mini pump for on-road emergencies, and a bright front-and-rear light set for early-morning or post-work rides in low-visibility Indian traffic.
