Anti Seize Grease

India's riding conditions are hard on threaded interfaces and metal-on-metal contact points. Heat exceeding 35°C, monsoon moisture, Pune's potholed climbs, and the relentless grime of city commutes all accelerate corrosion and thread seizure. Motorex Anti Seize Grease is engineered specifically to prevent exactly this — keeping bolts, seatposts, and bottom bracket threads free and serviceable for the long term.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Any Indian rider who has struggled with a seized seatpost in Chennai's humidity or a corroded bottom bracket thread after Coorg's monsoon trails knows the cost of skipping anti-seize. Motorex brings Swiss precision chemistry to this unglamorous but critical maintenance step. Applied correctly to pedal threads, stem bolts, and seatpost collars, this grease prevents the kind of thread damage that turns a simple adjustment into an expensive workshop repair. Essential, not optional.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Anti seize grease is not a sized product — one container serves all riders. However, consider your maintenance frequency: riders in coastal cities like Mumbai, Chennai, or Kolkata, where salt air accelerates corrosion, will use this product more regularly than riders in drier climates like Delhi or Ahmedabad. A single container will last many service intervals when applied sparingly and correctly.

Compatibility Notes

Suitable for metal-on-metal threaded interfaces including pedal threads, bottom bracket cups, seatpost collars, stem bolts, and thru-axles. Verify suitability before applying to carbon fibre contact points, as anti-seize compounds differ from carbon assembly paste. Not a chain lubricant — use a dedicated chain lube for drivetrain components. Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight.

Pairs Well With

Complete your workshop kit with a dedicated chain lubricant for drivetrain maintenance, a quality torque wrench for precise bolt tightening, carbon assembly paste for carbon seatposts and stems, and a bike-specific degreaser for pre-service cleaning. Available at Cobbled Climbs with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500.
