Anti-slip Paste

Anti-slip paste is one of those small-jar solutions that quietly prevents big mechanical headaches. Whether you ride the punishing climbs of Lonavala, tackle the potholes of Delhi, or sprint through Chennai's humidity, component slippage at the stem, seatpost, or bottom bracket can ruin a ride — or worse, cause a crash. Icetoolz Anti-slip Paste gives you confident, secure grip without over-tightening and damaging your components.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

In Indian conditions — 35°C+ heat in Pune summers, torrential Western Ghats monsoons, and gritty roads in Ahmedabad — metal-on-metal and metal-on-carbon interfaces lose grip faster than you'd expect. Anti-slip paste is especially critical for carbon seatposts and alloy clamps, where riders often over-torque out of anxiety. At Rs. 350, this jar from IceToolz is a cost-effective way to protect components worth many times more.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Anti-slip paste is not sized, but application quantity matters. A thin, even layer across the contact surface is sufficient — more is not better. For carbon components common on Indian performance bikes, use sparingly and wipe away any excess before riding. One jar covers dozens of applications across seatpost, stem, and handlebar interfaces.

Compatibility Notes

Suitable for metal-to-metal and metal-to-carbon interfaces including seatposts, stems, handlebars, and bottom bracket threads. Verify compatibility with full-carbon-on-carbon contact points — consult your frame manufacturer's guidelines. Not a thread locker or grease substitute. Keep away from brake tracks, disc rotors, and tyre surfaces. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Pairs Well With

Round out your workshop with a quality torque wrench to use anti-slip paste correctly, carbon-safe assembly grease for threaded interfaces, a bike cleaning kit for pre-application surface prep, and a portable multi-tool for on-the-road adjustments during longer rides.
