Aqua Headset Cover

The Chapter 2 Aqua Headset Cover is a precision-engineered protective component designed to shield your headset bearings from the elements. For riders tackling monsoon-soaked roads in Pune, dusty highways around Hyderabad, or the punishing climbs of Ooty and Coorg, keeping water and grit out of your headset is one of the most effective ways to extend steering precision and bearing life.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

India's riding conditions are genuinely harsh on headsets — monsoon spray, red laterite dust, and heat-induced condensation all accelerate bearing wear. The Chapter 2 Aqua Headset Cover addresses this directly with a purpose-built design that keeps contaminants out. At Rs. 1,925, it's an inexpensive insurance policy against far costlier headset replacements. If you ride regularly in Chennai, Kolkata, or anywhere the rains are serious, this small part earns its place.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Headset covers are sized to fit specific steerer tube and headset cup diameters — not body type. Before ordering, confirm your fork's steerer tube size and headset standard (typically 1-1/8" or tapered). Chapter 2 components follow international standards. If you're unsure which fits your frame, contact the Cobbled Climbs team for guidance before purchasing.

Compatibility Notes

The Aqua Headset Cover is designed for use with Chapter 2 Aqua headset systems. Verify compatibility with your frame's head tube standard and existing headset before ordering. It is not a universal fit for all headset brands. All Chapter 2 products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised. Installation requires no special tools.

Pairs Well With

Complete your headset setup with a quality waterproof bearing grease, a full headset service kit, or a Chapter 2-compatible stem. Adding a cable management solution or handlebar tape refresh alongside this cover makes for a smart, low-cost service session that keeps your cockpit area in top condition.
