Arc 1400 Dicut 50 DISC Brake Wheelset

The DT Swiss Arc 1400 Dicut 50 DISC Brake Wheelset is a carbon aero road wheelset built for riders who want genuine performance on everything from smooth Chennai expressways to the punishing climbs around Lonavala and Khandala. With a 50mm carbon rim profile and disc brake compatibility, it bridges aerodynamic efficiency and modern braking control in a single package. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

For Indian road riders chasing speed, the 50mm rim depth hits a sweet spot — aero enough for flat riding around Delhi or Hyderabad, yet manageable in the crosswinds you encounter on Ghat descents. Disc brakes shine here: consistent braking in the wet descents of Coorg or Ooty where rim brake performance fades fast. This is a serious, long-term wheel investment for the committed road cyclist riding in Indian conditions.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit depends on three factors: frame axle standard (thru-axle dimensions vary by frame), disc rotor interface (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and cassette body type (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). Confirm all three against your frame spec before ordering. In India's heat, tubeless setup also helps maintain tyre pressure stability across long rides.

Compatibility Notes

The Arc 1400 Dicut 50 is disc-brake specific and tubeless-ready. Confirm your frame's thru-axle dimensions for both front and rear. Rotor interface (Centerlock or 6-bolt) must match your existing rotors or budget for new ones. Use tubeless-compatible tyres, valve stems, and sealant for a complete tubeless setup. DT Swiss hubs are user-serviceable — refer to DT Swiss's published service intervals for bearing maintenance.

Pairs Well With

Complete your build with high-performance tubeless road tyres sized for the rim's inner width, a quality tubeless sealant, a matching set of disc rotors suited to your brake callipers, and a precision torque wrench for correct thru-axle and rotor bolt installation.
