Aspire Sport Sunglasses

Indian roads demand eyewear that does real work — shielding your eyes from harsh sun at 35°C+, road dust on broken tarmac, and the constant glare of oncoming traffic. The POC Aspire Sport Sunglasses bring precision-engineered lens technology and frame design to meet those demands head-on, whether you're riding the Western Ghats, commuting through Delhi, or clocking early morning laps in Chennai. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Polar in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Protective eyewear for sun, dust, and insect protection on Indian roads.

Race day. Wide-coverage frames with race-tuned lenses for visibility and aerodynamic fit.

Variable conditions. Photochromic or interchangeable lenses for varied light through Ghat tunnels and dawn-to-day rides.

Our Take

The POC Aspire Sport is a well-considered choice for Indian riders who treat eye protection as non-negotiable. Available in both polarised and non-polarised variants, it covers daily training and race-day use across a range of light conditions — from the glare of Pune's afternoon plateau roads to the shadow-and-light shifts inside Lonavala's tunnels. Polarised lenses cut road glare effectively, though non-polarised suits riders who need to read cycling computer screens clearly.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Aspire Sport follows POC's one-size-fits-most adult approach, with adjustable nose pads and temple tips offering a degree of customisation. Riders with narrower facial profiles — common across many Indian builds — should check frame width before ordering. In high-humidity conditions like Mumbai or Kolkata, a snug nose-pad fit prevents the frame from sliding during sweaty rides.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with most modern cycling helmets — confirm temple arm clearance with your specific model, particularly if your helmet features a visor. Polarised lens variants should be noted by riders using GPS computers with certain screen types. Clean lenses using a microfibre cloth and dedicated lens cleaner only; avoid paper towels and household chemicals that damage coatings. Store in a hard case between rides.

Pairs Well With

Complete your eye and head protection setup with a well-ventilated road or gravel helmet, a cycling cap for under-helmet sweat control during Ooty or Coorg climbs, a microfibre lens cleaning kit, and a protective hard eyewear case for travel days and kit bags.
