B087 Flat Pedals

The Well Go B087 are flat pedals — a platform-style option built for riders who prefer foot freedom over cleat engagement. At Rs. 1,195, they sit at an accessible price point for commuters, recreational riders, and those new to cycling who want a no-fuss, no-cleat setup that works with any regular shoe.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable cleat retention and bearing durability for repeat training use.

Race day. Lightweight design and clean release for competitive efforts.

Indoor training. Smooth float and compatibility with indoor trainer setups.

Our Take

For city riding in Pune or Chennai, or leisure loops around Hyderabad's Hussain Sagar, the B087 flat pedals make a practical choice. You ride in whatever shoes you have, clip out instantly in heavy traffic, and skip the learning curve of clipless systems entirely. In 35°C+ heat where focus is already stretched thin, that simplicity has real value. A solid entry point from a brand that has supplied platforms across the cycling market for decades.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Flat pedals are one-size-fits-all in terms of axle threading — the standard 9/16-inch axle fits virtually all adult cranks. Platform size matters more: wider platforms suit larger feet and give better support on longer rides. Riders with shoe sizes above Indian 9 (EU 43+) should confirm platform dimensions feel stable before committing to longer Lonavala or Coorg rides.

Compatibility Notes

The B087 uses the standard 9/16-inch axle thread, compatible with almost all adult cranksets. No cleats required — works with any flat-soled shoe. Check pedal body clearance if running a compact crank or bash guard. Clean the bearings periodically, especially after monsoon riding on gritty Indian roads, to extend service life.

Pairs Well With

Complete your build with flat-compatible MTB or casual cycling shoes with grippy rubber soles, a basic multi-tool for on-road adjustments, a pedal wrench for installation, and handlebar grips if you are setting up a commuter or urban bike from scratch.
