Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable cleat retention and bearing durability for repeat training use.

Race day. Lightweight design and clean release for competitive efforts.

Indoor training. Smooth float and compatibility with indoor trainer setups.

Our Take

Flat pedals get underrated, but for riders navigating Pune's stop-start traffic, Delhi's mixed roads, or Lonavala's wet descents during monsoon season, the ability to put a foot down instantly is genuinely useful. The Well Go B354 Du suits casual cyclists, beginner MTB riders, and urban commuters who want a reliable platform pedal without the learning curve of clipless. A practical, honest choice at this price point.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Flat pedals are universally compatible — no cleat pattern to match. The standard 9/16-inch axle thread fits virtually all adult crank arms. Indian riders with wider feet may appreciate the platform surface area for comfort on longer rides. In 35°C+ heat, ensure your shoes have sufficient sole grip to prevent foot movement on the platform.

Compatibility Notes

The B354 Du uses a standard 9/16-inch threaded axle, compatible with the vast majority of adult cranksets. Not compatible with 1/2-inch axles found on some children's bikes. Clean the platform pins periodically to maintain grip, especially after monsoon rides where mud and grit accumulate. Bearings benefit from an annual service if ridden daily.

Pairs Well With

These pedals work best as part of a complete entry-level or casual setup. Consider pairing with flat-sole MTB or urban cycling shoes for grip, a quality multitool for installation, handlebar grips for a matched contact-point upgrade, and a bike-specific lubricant for bearing maintenance.
