Base Layer Mens Compression Tights

Indian cyclists tackling the Western Ghats, grinding through Pune's summer training blocks, or building base kilometres in Chennai's humidity need compression tights that work as hard as they do. The 2XU Base Layer Men's Compression Tights deliver targeted muscle support, moisture management, and a body-contouring fit designed to perform in sustained heat and demanding conditions.

Use Cases

Hot conditions. Lightweight wicking base layer for under jerseys in 35°C+ Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Chennai heat.

Cool weather rides. Thermal base layer for Delhi, Pune, and Bengaluru winter morning starts.

Long rides. Moisture management for full-day rides where sweat regulation defines comfort.

Our Take

For Indian riders pushing long-distance efforts — think Lonavala climbs, Hyderabad century rides, or multi-hour Ooty ascents — these tights earn their place. The compressive fabric actively reduces muscle fatigue, while quick-drying synthetic construction manages the sweat load that comes with 35°C+ riding. This is serious training kit from a brand that understands endurance. At Rs. 3,548, it represents clear value for the committed rider.

Sizing for Indian Riders

2XU follows European race-fit sizing — generally running snug. Measure your thigh circumference carefully, as Indian riders often carry more thigh mass relative to waist than European sizing assumes. Between sizes, go up for endurance comfort during long monsoon-season indoor sessions or extended road rides. Compression should feel firm but never cut off circulation at the knee or waist.

Compatibility Notes

Suitable for cycling, running, and cross-training use. Wear directly against skin — no underwear — to preserve moisture-wicking performance. Machine wash at 30°C with mild detergent; always hang dry to maintain compression elasticity and fabric integrity. Available in S and L; colour: Black.

Pairs Well With

Complete your training setup with a breathable moisture-wicking base layer top, a quality cycling jersey for layering, compression calf sleeves for added recovery support on long climbs, and performance cycling socks designed for heat management on Indian roads.
