Bead Lubricant for Tubeless Tire

Getting tubeless tyres seated correctly is one of those jobs where the right product makes all the difference. The Icetoolz Bead Lubricant for Tubeless Tire is a dedicated solution for cyclists running tubeless setups — helping the tyre bead slip onto the rim cleanly and seat securely, whether you're setting up at home in Pune or prepping for a monsoon ride through the Western Ghats.

Use Cases

Daily training. Puncture-resistant rubber compound for Indian roads with debris and rough tarmac.

Race day. Low rolling resistance and supple casing for competitive efforts.

Tubeless setup. Tubeless-ready bead and casing for sealant-based puncture resistance.

Our Take

Tubeless setups are gaining serious traction among Indian riders, and for good reason — better puncture resistance on the rough tarmac you'll find between Lonavala and Khandala, or on Chennai's coastal roads. Attempting to mount a stubborn tubeless tyre without bead lubricant risks damaging the rim tape or bead itself. IceToolz's dedicated formula makes this process straightforward, saving both effort and expensive component wear in India's 35°C+ summer heat.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a consumable product with no size selection required. It is compatible with tubeless-ready rims and tyres across road, gravel, and MTB setups. One bottle is sufficient for multiple tyre installations. Riders in humidity-heavy cities like Kolkata, Mumbai, or Hyderabad will find it particularly useful as heat and moisture can make bead seating more difficult.

Compatibility Notes

Suitable for use with all tubeless-ready rims and tyres — road, gravel, and mountain bike. Compatible with both aluminium and carbon rims. Not a tyre sealant; use alongside your preferred tubeless sealant. Safe for rim tape. Avoid contact with brake tracks on rim-brake wheels. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Pairs Well With

Complete your tubeless setup with a quality tubeless sealant, a tyre lever set designed for tubeless fitment, a floor pump with pressure gauge for accurate seating, and rim tape suited to your wheel width. Available across categories at Cobbled Climbs.
