Big Softy Soft Wash Brush

India's riding conditions are tough on bikes — monsoon downpours in Mumbai, red-dust roads near Hyderabad, and the grit-laden climbs around Lonavala all accelerate frame and component wear. A quality wash brush is one of the simplest tools you can add to your maintenance kit, protecting expensive components by removing dirt before it causes real damage. The Juice Lubes Big Softy is designed precisely for this job.

Use Cases

Wet conditions. Wet lube for monsoon and humid Mumbai, Goa, and Bengaluru riding.

Dry conditions. Dry lube for clean drivetrain in Delhi, Hyderabad summer conditions.

Race day. Low-friction wax-based lubes for competitive efforts.

Our Take

The Big Softy lives up to its name — soft bristles that clean effectively without scratching paint, carbon fibre, or anodised finishes. For Indian riders dealing with monsoon mud, construction-site dust, and the fine grit that coats bikes after any Pune or Chennai ride, a brush that is gentle yet thorough is genuinely useful. At Rs. 1,350, it is an easy investment that protects far costlier components by keeping muck from grinding into bearings and seals.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a wash brush — no sizing applies to fit or body measurements. The brush head is sized for general frame and component washing, making it comfortable to grip and manoeuvre across tubes, forks, and wheel arches. Riders with larger hands will find the handle easy to control, even when wet and soapy during a post-ride wash in humid conditions.

Compatibility Notes

The Big Softy is safe for use on all frame materials including carbon fibre, aluminium, and steel. Suitable for frames, forks, wheels, and non-drivetrain surfaces. Pair with a dedicated stiff-bristle brush for drivetrain cleaning. Rinse the brush after each use and allow to air-dry to maintain bristle shape and hygiene.

Pairs Well With

For a complete bike-care kit, pair the Big Softy with a dedicated drivetrain degreaser, a stiff detail brush for cassette and chainrings, a bike-safe frame cleaner or wash solution, and a chain lubricant suited to your riding conditions — wet lube for monsoon, dry or wax lube for summer training.
