Bio Degreaser

India's roads — whether the grit-laden stretches of Pune's outskirts, Chennai's coastal humidity, or the post-monsoon muck coating every drivetrain in Mumbai — demand a degreaser that works thoroughly without punishing the environment or your components. The Blub Bio Degreaser is a biodegradable, cycling-specific formula designed to cut through chain grease, cassette buildup, and derailleur grime so your drivetrain runs cleanly and efficiently.

Use Cases

Wet conditions. Wet lube for monsoon and humid Mumbai, Goa, and Bengaluru riding.

Dry conditions. Dry lube for clean drivetrain in Delhi, Hyderabad summer conditions.

Race day. Low-friction wax-based lubes for competitive efforts.

Our Take

India's combination of 35°C+ heat, monsoon mud, and dusty roads is genuinely brutal on drivetrains. A bio-based degreaser that breaks down grime without harsh petrochemicals is the right call for riders who service their bikes regularly. The Blub Bio Degreaser does the job cleanly, rinses off without leaving residue, and is safe enough for frequent use — important when your chain needs attention every week during the Mumbai or Kolkata monsoon season.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Sizing does not apply to this product — it is a liquid degreaser sold by volume. No fit consultation is needed. Simply ensure you have an adequate supply for your service frequency: riders in humid coastal cities like Chennai or Kochi, or those tackling the Western Ghats regularly, will find they get through product faster than riders in drier climates like Delhi or Ahmedabad.

Compatibility Notes

The Blub Bio Degreaser is formulated for cycling-specific use and is safe for metal drivetrains including chains, cassettes, chainrings, and derailleurs. If your bike features carbon fibre components in the drivetrain area, verify compatibility before soaking. Do not use on brake track surfaces or disc rotors. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry before applying fresh lubricant.

Pairs Well With

For a complete maintenance kit, pair the Bio Degreaser with a quality chain lubricant suited to your riding conditions (wet lube for monsoon, dry or wax lube for summer), a chain cleaning device for deep drivetrain flushes, assorted component brushes for cassette and chainring detail work, and microfibre cloths for a clean wipe-down finish.
