Bx314r 10x130mm Quick Release RIM Brake Rear Hub

The Bitex BX314R is a precision-engineered quick-release rear hub designed for road cyclists who demand reliable, smooth-rolling performance. Built around a 10x130mm quick-release axle and rim brake standard, it is a direct-fit upgrade for classic road frames across India — from daily training on Chennai's ECR to weekend climbs on the Western Ghats out of Pune.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

Bitex has earned a strong following among wheel builders who want quality internals without overpaying for a brand badge. The BX314R suits Indian riders well — the 10x130mm QR standard fits a vast number of road bikes still in active use across the country, and the rim brake configuration keeps the system simple and light. For riders tackling Lonavala or Ooty climbs, a well-built hub is a quiet but meaningful upgrade.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This hub is not sized like apparel — compatibility is what matters. Confirm your frame accepts a 10x130mm quick-release rear axle and uses rim brakes before ordering. Most road frames manufactured before 2018 will be compatible. Check your cassette body compatibility separately when lacing to a new rim. Free delivery applies on orders above Rs. 2,500.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for 10x130mm quick-release road frames with rim brakes. Works with standard Shimano HG cassette bodies. Confirm spoke count and lacing pattern with your wheel builder before ordering. Not compatible with disc brake or thru-axle frames. Suitable for road use; verify spoke hole count matches your chosen rim.

Pairs Well With

Complete your wheel build by pairing this hub with a quality road rim in your preferred depth, double-butted spokes and brass nipples for durability on rough Indian roads, and rim brake pads matched to your rim surface material. A spoke tension meter ensures a lasting, reliable build.
