Mtf15/20 9x100mm Quick Release DISC Brake Front Hub

The Bitex Mtf15/20 is a disc brake front hub built for 9x100mm quick-release forks, combining precision bearing placement with reliable engagement for mountain and gravel riders. Whether you are building up a fresh wheel or replacing a worn hub, this is a dependable choice for Indian riders tackling everything from loose forest trails to Coorg's steep descents.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Bitex has earned a strong reputation among wheel builders for consistent quality and tight tolerances. The Mtf15/20 suits Indian mountain riders well — the 9x100mm QR standard is widely compatible, and disc brake-only design means confident stopping power on muddy Ghats trails or during monsoon descents in Himachal Pradesh. For custom wheel builds in Pune, Delhi, or Hyderabad, this hub offers genuine performance without the premium price of European alternatives.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This hub uses a 9x100mm quick-release axle — confirm your fork accepts this standard before ordering. Many modern trail and gravel forks have moved to thru-axle, so double-check your fork's dropout specification. Disc brake interface compatibility (Centerlock or 6-bolt) must also match your rotor. No clothing sizing applies here; fit is purely a mechanical specification match.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for 9x100mm quick-release front forks with disc brakes. Verify whether your rotor uses Centerlock or 6-bolt mounting before ordering. Works with standard disc rotors; check spoke hole count matches your chosen rim. Compatible with road, gravel, and mountain rims within the disc brake standard. Service bearings periodically, especially after monsoon riding in silt-heavy conditions.

Pairs Well With

Complete your build with a matching rear disc hub for a consistent wheelset, quality double-butted spokes, alloy or brass nipples suited to your spoke tension preference, and a compatible disc rotor in the correct interface standard. A spoke tension meter is a worthwhile addition for home builders.
