Tkf10 9x100mm Quick Release RIM Brake Front Hub

The Bitex Tkf10 is a 9x100mm quick-release front hub built for rim brake wheelsets. Whether you are building a fresh road wheel for Pune's expressway training routes or replacing a worn hub on a reliable commuter, this hub offers precision bearing placement and a dependable engagement system at a price that makes sense for Indian riders.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

Bitex has quietly earned respect among wheel builders who care about consistency. The Tkf10 suits riders on rim brake road bikes who want a reliable, well-made front hub without paying a premium for brand recognition alone. For India's mix of smooth NH highways and rough city streets, a hub with good bearing quality matters — smooth rolling translates directly to less fatigue on long Ghat climbs or extended Delhi-to-Agra rides. At Rs. 3,800, this is solid value.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This hub uses a 9x100mm quick-release axle standard — confirm your fork accepts QR 100mm before ordering. It is designed for rim brake forks only; disc brake forks are not compatible. Flange dimensions will suit most standard spoke counts. If you are building a wheel, share your spoke count and rim specs with your wheel builder before purchasing.

Compatibility Notes

Compatible with QR 100mm rim brake forks only. Works with standard J-bend spokes. Not compatible with disc brake forks or thru-axle standards. Available in black and silver finishes — match to your rim or frame aesthetics. Check Bitex's recommended service intervals for bearing maintenance, especially after monsoon-season riding when water and grit ingress is higher.

Pairs Well With

Complete your wheel build by pairing this hub with a quality alloy or carbon rim, double-butted spokes, brass nipples for corrosion resistance in humid coastal conditions, and a reliable spoke tension meter for accurate wheel building. A set of quality rim brake pads matched to your rim surface is also worth considering.
