Bio Degreaser

India's riding conditions are genuinely hard on drivetrains. Between the red-dust roads of Rajasthan, Chennai's coastal humidity, and Mumbai's four-month monsoon, grime embeds into chains, cassettes, and jockey wheels faster than anywhere in Europe. A purpose-made, biodegradable degreaser cuts through that build-up without harming the environment or your components — and the Blub Bio Degreaser is built precisely for this kind of regular, thorough drivetrain care.

Use Cases

Wet conditions. Wet lube for monsoon and humid Mumbai, Goa, and Bengaluru riding.

Dry conditions. Dry lube for clean drivetrain in Delhi, Hyderabad summer conditions.

Race day. Low-friction wax-based lubes for competitive efforts.

Our Take

Pune weekenders hammering the Tamhini Ghat and Delhi commuters grinding through summer smog both share one problem: filthy drivetrains. The Blub Bio Degreaser uses a plant-derived, biodegradable formula that dissolves grease and grime effectively without the aggressive solvents that can damage seals or carbon frames. At Rs. 1,190, it sits at a price point where regular use is practical — far cheaper than replacing a worn cassette prematurely.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a consumable product, so sizing does not apply. One bottle goes a long way when used with a drip-and-brush method. For riders doing weekly maintenance through the monsoon season — say, Coorg or Lonavala regulars — stocking two bottles ensures you are never caught mid-service. No sizing guidance needed; simply order and get cleaning.

Compatibility Notes

The Blub Bio Degreaser is suitable for use on metal drivetrain components including chains, cassettes, chainrings, and derailleurs. Verify before applying directly to carbon fibre surfaces or painted frames — rinse thoroughly with water after use. Safe for Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo drivetrains. Not a lubricant; always follow degreasing with a compatible chain lube.

Pairs Well With

Complete your maintenance kit with a chain cleaning tool for thorough interior cleaning, a set of stiff-bristle component brushes for cassette and derailleur work, a quality chain lubricant suited to your riding conditions (wet or dry), and a bike stand to make the whole process easier and more consistent.
