Bottom Bracket Toolkit

A bottom bracket installation or removal done wrong can damage a frame that costs more than a motorcycle. The CeramicSpeed Bottom Bracket Toolkit is a precision workshop tool set built specifically for cyclists who want their bottom bracket work done correctly — whether that's a home mechanic in Pune prepping for a Lonavala climb or a shop in Chennai building up a new road bike. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Ceramic Speed in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

Indian riding conditions are hard on drivetrains. Dust on the roads around Hyderabad, humidity on coastal Chennai routes, and the grit that builds up after a monsoon descent in the Western Ghats all mean bottom brackets need regular attention. CeramicSpeed's toolkit gives home mechanics the right tools to do this work properly, avoiding the stripped threads and cracked cups that come from using the wrong instrument. At Rs. 45,000, this is a long-term investment for serious riders.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a workshop toolkit, not a wearable, so body sizing does not apply. What matters is compatibility with your bottom bracket standard — threaded, press-fit, or T47. Confirm your frame's bottom bracket shell type before purchase. If you're unsure which standard your bike uses, contact Cobbled Climbs directly and our mechanics will guide you through identification.

Compatibility Notes

Designed to work across road and mountain bike platforms. Covers common bottom bracket standards including threaded and press-fit formats. Always verify your specific frame's bottom bracket shell specification before use. Not intended for automotive or non-cycling applications. Store dry to prevent corrosion during India's monsoon months.

Pairs Well With

Round out your workshop setup with a quality torque wrench, a dedicated drivetrain cleaning kit, carbon assembly paste for carbon frames, and a workstand to hold the bike steady during installation. Each of these categories is available at Cobbled Climbs.
