Buta Triathlon Drinking System

Triathlon racing in India is a different beast — you are managing hydration through 35°C+ heat in Chennai, the humidity of a Mumbai coastal ride, or the long stretches between Pune and Lonavala. The Elite Buta Triathlon Drinking System is purpose-built for exactly this kind of demand, putting accessible hydration where you need it most during a race or extended brick session. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Time in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

For Indian triathletes, hydration is not optional — it is a performance variable. The Elite Buta system is designed for the aero position, keeping fluids within reach without breaking your race form. Whether you are competing in Hyderabad in May or training through Chennai's coastal humidity, this system addresses the real cost of under-hydration on Indian courses. A practical, well-considered piece of equipment selected for Indian conditions.

Sizing for Indian Riders

The Buta is a bike-mounted hydration system, so fit relates to your cockpit and frame rather than body size. Ensure your tri bike or road bike has adequate clearance between the aerobars or handlebar setup for the system to mount correctly. Indian riders with standard 54–58cm frames should find installation straightforward. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you need guidance on cockpit compatibility.

Compatibility Notes

The Elite Buta is designed for triathlon and time-trial bikes with aerobar setups, though it can also work with road bikes depending on handlebar configuration. Verify your stem and bar dimensions before ordering. The system is compatible with standard bottle valve sizes. Rinse thoroughly after monsoon rides to prevent residue build-up in the drink tube.

Pairs Well With

Complete your triathlon setup with a dedicated tri saddle, aero helmet, or race nutrition belt for longer events. A second hydration solution mounted to your down tube rounds out race-day fluid management. Consider anti-chafe and sun protection kit for Indian race-day conditions.
