Caffelatex Tubeless Kit

Indian roads demand more from a tubeless setup than almost anywhere else in the world. Potholed city streets in Pune, rough tarmac on the climb to Lonavala, monsoon-soaked roads in Chennai — the Effetto Mariposa Caffelatex Tubeless Kit is built to handle all of it, sealing punctures fast and keeping you rolling when lesser sealants give up. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for Form in India.

Use Cases

Spare on rides. Backup tube to carry on Indian rides where puncture risk is high.

Lightweight setup. TPU tubes for weight-conscious race day or competitive efforts.

Standard fitment. Butyl tubes for daily training and reliable long-term use.

Our Take

Caffelatex has earned a strong reputation among Indian cyclists who ride in conditions that chew through inferior sealants. Its foam-based formula seals small punctures quickly, which matters when you're mid-climb on the Western Ghats with no bike shop in sight. For riders tackling 35°C+ heat in Hyderabad or navigating Bangalore's potholed streets, this kit delivers genuine peace of mind on every ride.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Caffelatex sealant volume requirements vary by tyre volume — wider gravel tyres need more sealant than narrow road tyres. The kit format suits most standard tubeless setups. Indian riders running wider tyres for road comfort on rough surfaces should ensure adequate sealant coverage. Follow Effetto Mariposa's volume guidelines based on your tyre width for best results.

Compatibility Notes

Works with tubeless-ready (TLR) rims and tyres across road, gravel, and MTB formats. Requires tubeless valves — typically included in kit form. Not suitable for standard clincher-only rims. Compatible with both hooked and hookless rim standards. Shake well before use and top up every three to four months, especially in India's dry summer heat which accelerates sealant evaporation.

Pairs Well With

Complete your tubeless setup with tubeless-ready tyres, quality tubeless rim tape, a floor pump with pressure gauge for accurate inflation, and a portable CO2 inflator or mini pump for roadside emergencies. A tyre plug kit makes an excellent addition for longer rides away from support.
