Caffelatex Valves Extension

Running deep-section rims or aero wheels on Indian roads — from the long climbs of Lonavala to the fast flats outside Pune and Delhi — means stock valve stems rarely clear the rim bed. The Effetto Mariposa Caffelatex Valve Extension solves this cleanly, letting you inflate, check pressure, and add sealant without wrestling an awkward pump head at the roadside.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

For Indian riders running deep carbon rims or alloy aero wheels, short valve stems are a recurring frustration. The Caffelatex Valve Extension from Effetto Mariposa is a simple, well-made fix that works reliably in the heat and humidity of a Chennai summer or the wet descents of Coorg. At Rs. 1,365 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, it is an affordable upgrade worth keeping in every tubeless kit.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Valve extensions are not size-specific to the rider, but they must match your valve core threading. Presta valves are standard across road and gravel setups in India. If you are running Caffelatex tubeless sealant — particularly common among Pune and Hyderabad gravel riders — confirm the extension is compatible with your specific valve core before ordering.

Compatibility Notes

Designed for use with Presta-valve tubeless and tubed setups. Works with Effetto Mariposa's own Caffelatex sealant system and most aftermarket tubeless valves. Ensure your pump head locks down fully onto the extension — some track pump chucks need a short adapter. Not suitable for Schrader valve rims.

Pairs Well With

Complete your tubeless setup with Caffelatex tubeless sealant, a quality mini pump or CO2 inflator for on-road emergencies, tubeless rim tape for a fresh build, and a valve core removal tool to make mid-ride sealant top-ups quick and clean.
