Campagnolo SR Super Record 2011 Insert Replacement Pads

The Kool-Stop Campagnolo SR Super Record 2011 Insert Replacement Pad is a direct-fit brake insert designed for riders running Campagnolo's Super Record skeleton brake holders. Available in ten compound variants — from everyday black rubber to carbon-specific formulas — these pads let you dial in your braking performance to match your rim type, riding conditions, and personal preference without replacing the entire brake unit.

Our Take

For Indian riders running Campagnolo groupsets on aluminium or carbon rims, choosing the right compound matters more than most realise. The Salmon compound offers forgiving, progressive modulation on the long descents into Lonavala or the Nilgiris above Ooty, while the Carbon Fiber variants protect expensive carbon clinchers from heat damage in 35°C+ conditions. Water-grooved construction clears surface water reliably during Pune's heavy monsoon downpours, giving you consistent bite when it counts most.

Sizing for Indian Riders

These are insert-only pads — no sizing in the conventional sense, but compatibility is critical. Confirm you are running Campagnolo Super Record skeleton-style holders from 2000 onwards before ordering. The inserts slide and lock into the existing holder; no tools beyond a 2mm hex key are typically needed. Riders in Chennai and Hyderabad who train year-round should check insert wear more frequently given the abrasive road grit common after monsoon season.

Compatibility Notes

Designed exclusively for Campagnolo Super Record 2011 skeleton brake holders and compatible with Campagnolo holders produced from 2000 to present. Not compatible with Shimano, SRAM, or other brand holders. Carbon Fiber compound variants (KS-SRCF, KS-SRCF2, KS-SRCFL, KS-SR03CX) are intended for carbon rims only; use Black or Salmon compounds on aluminium rims. Brake pad holders are not included.

Pairs Well With

Round out your brake system with Campagnolo Super Record brake calipers, carbon or aluminium clincher wheelsets suited to your chosen compound, brake cable and housing sets for a full system refresh, and a torque wrench or multi-tool for precise pad installation and alignment.
