Carbon Bottle Cage

Staying hydrated on India's longer rides — whether climbing the Western Ghats out of Pune, grinding through Chennai's coastal heat, or tackling the switchbacks above Ooty — demands equipment that works without interruption. The Chapter 2 Carbon Bottle Cage is a precision-made component that keeps your bottle exactly where it should be, every Time you reach for it.

Use Cases

Daily training. On-bike hydration for road, gravel, or MTB training rides.

Long climbs. Reliable cage-compatible design for Western Ghats, Nilgiris, or Sahyadri climbs.

Race day. Quick-access valve and frame-cage compatibility for competitive efforts.

Our Take

Carbon bottle cages sit at the intersection of weight savings and everyday function, and Chapter 2 gets the balance right. In 35°C+ riding conditions across Hyderabad or Ahmedabad, a cage that grips firmly but releases smoothly makes a real difference mid-ride. The carbon construction keeps mass low without feeling fragile, and the fit quality matches what you'd expect from a brand that builds complete bikes to the highest standard. A worthwhile upgrade for any performance-oriented Indian rider.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Bottle cages are not sized to the rider — they mount to your frame's standard bottle cage bosses. Confirm your bike has two M5 boss mounts, which covers the vast majority of road, gravel, and MTB frames sold in India. Standard cycling bottles fit this cage; oversized or wide-body bottles may require a different cage model. Contact Cobbled Climbs if you are unsure.

Compatibility Notes

The Chapter 2 Carbon Bottle Cage mounts to standard M5 bottle cage bosses found on most road, gravel, and triathlon frames. Compatible with standard-diameter cycling bottles. Avoid abrasive cleaning agents on the carbon finish. All Chapter 2 products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised stock, shipped from Mumbai.

Pairs Well With

Complete your hydration setup with a quality insulated cycling bottle for longer rides in Indian summer heat, an aerodynamic top-tube bag for extra storage, and a multi-tool with a bottle cage bolt driver for trailside adjustments. A second cage for the down tube is always worth considering.
