Carbon Ceramic Derailleur Pulley for Shimano Dura Ace Rd-9250 & Ultegra Rd-8150

Drivetrain efficiency is where races are won and training gains are protected. The Nova Ride Carbon Ceramic Derailleur Pulley for Shimano Dura-Ace RD-9250 and Ultegra RD-8150 replaces your stock pulley wheels with oversized ceramic-bearing units designed to reduce friction and improve shifting precision on India's demanding road surfaces. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Riding through Pune's congested streets, up the Ghats to Lonavala, or on Chennai's coastal expressways, drivetrain losses add up fast — especially in 35°C+ heat where chain lube breaks down and every watt counts. Nova Ride's carbon ceramic pulleys deliver noticeably smoother chain movement and reduced mechanical drag. For riders running Dura-Ace Di2 or Ultegra Di2, this is one of the most cost-effective drivetrain upgrades available.

Sizing for Indian Riders

These pulleys are purpose-built for Shimano RD-9250 (Dura-Ace Di2) and RD-8150 (Ultegra Di2) rear derailleurs only. No sizing conversion is needed — fitment is determined by derailleur model, not rider size. Confirm your exact derailleur model before ordering. Available in Black, Gold, Blue, and Purple to suit your build aesthetic.

Compatibility Notes

Designed exclusively for Shimano Dura-Ace RD-9250 and Ultegra RD-8150 rear derailleurs. Not compatible with older Shimano groupsets or SRAM and Campagnolo derailleurs. Ceramic bearings benefit from periodic cleaning — especially after monsoon riding in Mumbai, Kolkata, or coastal routes where grit and water ingress accelerate wear. Follow Nova Ride's recommended service intervals.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain upgrade with a quality ceramic-compatible chain lubricant for Indian heat and monsoon conditions, a precision chain wear indicator tool, a Shimano-compatible cassette for your current groupset, and a torque wrench for correct pulley installation.
