Carbon Paste Anti Slip Cream

Carbon fibre components demand careful handling — overtightening a seatpost or stem can crack a frame worth lakhs. Alligator Carbon Paste Anti Slip Cream is a workshop essential that allows riders to torque carbon parts securely at lower settings, preventing slippage without risking structural damage. Whether you ride in Pune's pre-monsoon heat or on Lonavala's damp descents, this paste keeps carbon-to-carbon and carbon-to-alloy interfaces locked in place.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable use across Indian training conditions — heat, humidity, and rough tarmac.

Race day. Performance-grade construction for competitive efforts.

Long rides. Built for full-day rides across Western Ghats, Sahyadri, or Nilgiri climbs.

Our Take

Carbon paste is one of those workshop items that riders overlook until something goes wrong — a slipping seatpost mid-climb on the Western Ghats, or a handlebar that creeps forward on a fast descent. Alligator's anti-slip cream gives carbon interfaces the grip they need at safe torque values, which matters enormously in India's heat where metal expands and connections can loosen. At Rs. 2,690 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, it is sound insurance for expensive carbon components.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Carbon paste is not size-dependent, but the quantity you use per application matters. A thin, even layer across the contact surface is sufficient — over-applying wastes product and can create uneven clamping. One tube covers many applications across seatposts, stems, handlebars, and bottom bracket shells. No sizing guidance required; one size fits all contact points.

Compatibility Notes

Suitable for carbon-to-carbon and carbon-to-alloy interfaces including seatposts, stems, handlebars, and bottom bracket threads. Not a thread locker or grease substitute — use it specifically for friction-enhancement on smooth carbon surfaces. Always verify your component manufacturer's recommendation for carbon-safe paste before applying. Keep away from brake tracks and sealed bearing surfaces.

Pairs Well With

Complete your workshop kit with a quality torque wrench (essential for safe carbon torque values), carbon-safe assembly grease for threaded interfaces, a bike stand for steady maintenance work, and frame protection tape for high-wear contact zones on carbon frames.
