Centric Sunglasses

Riding in India means contending with blazing afternoon sun, road dust, and sudden shifts in light from open highways to shaded Ghat tunnels. The 100% Centric Sunglasses is built to handle these demands — offering reliable eye protection for cyclists training in Pune, climbing through Lonavala, or commuting across Delhi's exposed roads day after day. Cobbled Climbs is the authorised retailer for 100% in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Protective eyewear for sun, dust, and insect protection on Indian roads.

Race day. Wide-coverage frames with race-tuned lenses for visibility and aerodynamic fit.

Variable conditions. Photochromic or interchangeable lenses for varied light through Ghat tunnels and dawn-to-day rides.

Our Take

Eye protection on Indian roads is non-negotiable. The 100% Centric delivers wide-coverage defence against UV, wind-driven dust, and insects — conditions riders face on the Western Ghats, Chennai's coastal routes, and Hyderabad's sun-hammered ring roads. The frame sits cleanly under most helmets, and the adjustable nose pads help Indian riders get a stable fit during sweaty summer sessions where temperatures frequently exceed 35°C.

Sizing for Indian Riders

100% designs most of its eyewear as one-size-fits-most for adults, but Indian riders with narrower or smaller faces should pay attention to frame width. Adjustable nose pads and flexible temple tips allow meaningful customisation. In high-humidity riding conditions — Mumbai monsoon, coastal Tamil Nadu — a secure, non-slip fit is important to keep the frame in place.

Compatibility Notes

The Centric works with all standard cycling helmets — check that temple arms clear your specific helmet's internal webbing. Most 100% frames accept prescription inserts; confirm model compatibility before ordering. Clean lenses with a microfibre cloth and dedicated lens cleaner only. Avoid paper towels or chemical solvents, which damage coatings.

Pairs Well With

For a well-rounded kit, pair the Centric with a well-ventilated road or gravel helmet, a cycling cap to manage sweat under the helmet on long climbs, a microfibre lens-cleaning cloth, and a hard protective case for travel between rides or races.
