Description

The Token Ceramic Bottom Bracket for SRAM DUB BB29 BSA TBT brings precision-grade ceramic bearing technology to one of the most overlooked upgrades on any performance build. Designed for BSA threaded shells, it pairs directly with SRAM DUB cranksets and delivers noticeably smoother pedalling strokes — a tangible gain whether you're climbing the Western Ghats or logging training laps around Pune.

Use Cases

Daily training. Reliable construction for repeat use.

Race day. Lightweight, stiff design for power transfer and aerodynamics.

Fit adjustment. Right stem length critical for comfortable bike fit.

Our Take

India's riding conditions are tough on bottom brackets — dust from Rajasthan highways, monsoon moisture in Coorg, and the relentless heat of Chennai summers all accelerate bearing wear in steel units. Token's ceramic bearings run cooler, spin longer, and resist moisture ingress better than standard steel alternatives. For riders who put serious kilometres on their SRAM DUB-equipped bikes, this is a worthwhile and measurable upgrade over the stock bracket.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This bottom bracket is built for BSA (threaded) bottom bracket shells — the most common standard on Indian road and gravel bikes. Confirm your frame's shell threading before ordering; press-fit frames are not compatible. SRAM DUB is compatible across 10, 11, and 12-speed groupsets. If unsure of your shell standard, a local bike shop or Cobbled Climbs' support team can help you verify.

Compatibility Notes

Designed specifically for SRAM DUB cranksets in BSA-threaded (English/Italian distinguishable — confirm BSA specifically) bottom bracket shells. Works with SRAM Eagle, Force, Rival, and Apex DUB cranks across 10/11/12-speed configurations. Not compatible with Shimano or Campagnolo cranks. Installation should be performed by a qualified mechanic with correct torque tools to avoid bearing preload damage.

Pairs Well With

Complete your drivetrain upgrade by pairing this bottom bracket with a quality SRAM DUB crankset, a ceramic-rated chain lubricant suited for Indian monsoon conditions, a torque wrench for precise installation, and a chain wear indicator tool to protect your new investment. Fitting

This bottom bracket is application-specific to BSA-threaded frame shells. Before ordering, confirm your frame uses a BSA (English-threaded) bottom bracket shell — this is the most common standard on road and gravel bikes sold in India. SRAM DUB is a wide-spindle system; do not attempt to fit non-DUB SRAM cranks or Shimano cranks to this bracket. If you are building a new bike or replacing an existing bracket, have a qualified mechanic verify your shell threading. Cobbled Climbs' support team can assist with compatibility questions prior to purchase.
