Chrono Max Road DISC Brake Wheel

The Parcours Chrono Max Road DISC Brake Wheel is built for riders who demand precision-engineered performance across varied terrain — from the smooth tarmac of Delhi's Dwarka Expressway to the punishing climbs of Lonavala and Khandala. With optimised bearing placement, a reliable engagement system, and disc brake compatibility, this wheelset addresses the real demands of Indian road cycling without compromise. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

At Rs. 73,500, the Chrono Max is a serious investment — and it earns that price. Parcours designs wheels with aerodynamic efficiency and real-world durability in mind, which matters when a single ride through Pune or Chennai can throw smooth tarmac, waterlogged patches, and broken road surfaces at you in quick succession. The disc brake spec adds confident all-condition stopping, especially on monsoon-soaked Ghat descents where braking distances can be critical.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit is about three-way compatibility, not physical sizing. Confirm your frame's axle standard (thru-axle dimensions or quick-release spacing), your brake rotor interface (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and your cassette body type (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo) before ordering. India's year-round heat and monsoon riding also make tubeless setup worth considering — better puncture protection and a more comfortable ride on rough surfaces.

Compatibility Notes

These wheels are disc-brake specific — rim brake frames are not compatible. Verify axle standard and rotor interface before purchase. Cassette body compatibility must match your drivetrain. If running tubeless, use tubeless-compatible tyres, valve stems, and sealant. Cobbled Climbs ships from Mumbai with free delivery on orders above Rs. 2,500 and cash on delivery available across India.

Pairs Well With

Complete your wheel upgrade with performance road tyres suited to the rim's internal width, tubeless valves and sealant for Indian road conditions, disc brake rotors in your preferred standard, and a quality torque wrench for safe installation. Each adds measurable benefit to the overall setup.
