Citrus Degreaser

India's roads demand more from your drivetrain than almost anywhere else. Monsoon grime, red laterite dust from Coorg and Ooty climbs, and the searing heat of a Chennai or Pune summer combine to accelerate chain wear and cassette corrosion at an alarming rate. The Weldtite Citrus Degreaser is a cycling-specific solution built to cut through that accumulated filth quickly and safely, keeping your drivetrain running clean ride after ride.

Use Cases

Wet conditions. Wet lube for monsoon and humid Mumbai, Goa, and Bengaluru riding.

Dry conditions. Dry lube for clean drivetrain in Delhi, Hyderabad summer conditions.

Race day. Low-friction wax-based lubes for competitive efforts.

Our Take

A dirty drivetrain costs you watts and costs you money in premature component replacement. In India's conditions — the thick red mud of Coorg descents, the salt-laden air on Chennai coastal rides, the gritty post-monsoon roads around Lonavala — a reliable degreaser isn't optional. Weldtite's citrus-based formula lifts grease effectively without the aggression of automotive solvents, making it a sensible weekly tool for any rider who takes drivetrain longevity seriously.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a maintenance product with no sizing considerations. One bottle services road bikes across all frame sizes and drivetrain configurations. For Indian conditions, we recommend stocking an extra bottle before monsoon season — June through September sees heavy usage as riders clean drivetrains weekly. Free delivery applies on orders above Rs. 2,500 across India.

Compatibility Notes

Weldtite Citrus Degreaser is suitable for use on chains, cassettes, chainrings, and derailleurs across road bike drivetrains. Verify compatibility with carbon fibre components before use — some degreasers can affect epoxy bonds over time. Avoid contact with sealed bearings and brake surfaces. Rinse thoroughly with water after application. All Weldtite products at Cobbled Climbs are 100% genuine and authorised.

Pairs Well With

Complete your maintenance kit with a chain cleaning tool for thorough drivetrain scrubbing, a quality chain lubricant suited to wet or dry Indian conditions, a set of component brushes for cassette and chainring detail work, and a bike stand to make the whole process easier at home.
