Cl Road DISC Brake Wheelset

The Gist Cl Road DISC Brake Wheelset is an aluminium disc-brake wheelset built for road cyclists who want a dependable performance upgrade. With precision hub internals, a reliable engagement system, and disc-brake compatibility, these wheels are suited to Indian riding — where a single route can take you from smooth expressway tarmac to monsoon-cracked back roads and back again. Cobbled Climbs is the exclusive Indian distributor for Campagnolo in India.

Use Cases

Daily training. Durable rim and reliable hub bearings for repeat training use.

Race day. Aerodynamic depth and weight-optimised construction for competitive efforts.

All-rounder. Versatile depth and width for road, gravel, or all-road riding.

Our Take

At Rs. 36,570, the Gist Cl Road DISC Brake Wheelset offers a meaningful performance step up for riders on the Western Ghats, Pune's rolling roads, or Delhi's long flat stretches. Aluminium construction keeps costs rational while delivering the lateral stiffness that disc-brake frames demand. For Indian riders battling heat above 35°C and variable road surfaces, a reliable engagement system and well-placed bearings matter far more than shaving a few grams.

Sizing for Indian Riders

Wheelset fit is determined by three factors: your frame's axle standard (quick-release or thru-axle), your brake rotor interface (Centerlock or 6-bolt), and your drivetrain's cassette body (Shimano HG, SRAM XDR, or Campagnolo). Confirm all three before ordering. Also check your frame's maximum tyre clearance against the rim's internal width — wider rims need wider tyre clearance.

Compatibility Notes

These are disc-brake wheels — ensure your frame and fork use disc-brake mounts. Verify your axle standard and dimensions precisely before fitting. The cassette body determines drivetrain compatibility; check whether Shimano HG, SRAM, or Campagnolo interfaces are supported. If setting up tubeless, you will need tubeless-compatible tyres, rim tape, valves, and sealant. Follow Gist's recommended bearing service intervals to keep the hubs rolling smoothly.

Pairs Well With

Complete your wheel build with quality road tyres sized to the rim's internal width, tubeless sealant and valve stems for puncture protection on rough Indian roads, disc brake rotors matched to your caliper standard, and a torque wrench for safe thru-axle installation.
