Coil 3506c 120 Cable Lock

Bike theft is a genuine concern across Indian cities — from apartment parking in Delhi and Mumbai to office racks in Hyderabad and Pune. The Abus Coil 3506c 120 Cable Lock offers a compact, coil-format cable lock suited for short stops, secondary wheel security, and everyday commuter use, backed by Abus's well-regarded lock engineering.

Use Cases

Wet conditions. Wet lube for monsoon and humid Mumbai, Goa, and Bengaluru riding.

Dry conditions. Dry lube for clean drivetrain in Delhi, Hyderabad summer conditions.

Race day. Low-friction wax-based lubes for competitive efforts.

Our Take

For Indian urban riders, a cable lock works best as part of a layered security approach. Use the Coil 3506c 120 to secure a wheel or saddle alongside a heavier primary lock. The coil format is easy to carry and store, making it practical for cafe stops in Bandra or Koramangala or quick office-hour parking. At Rs. 995 with free delivery above Rs. 2,500, it's an accessible entry into proper bike security.

Sizing for Indian Riders

This is a cable lock, so traditional apparel sizing does not apply. The key dimension is cable length — the 120 in the product name refers to 120 cm length, which is adequate for looping through a wheel and around a fixed rack. For longer reach around wide posts or multiple bikes, consider a longer cable variant. No heat or body-type considerations apply here.

Compatibility Notes

The Coil 3506c 120 is compatible with hybrid and road bikes. It works as a secondary cable alongside a U-lock or chain lock for front wheels, saddles, and accessories. The coil cable is corrosion-resistant, which matters during Mumbai or Chennai monsoon season — wipe dry and store coiled to maintain longevity.

Pairs Well With

For complete bike security, consider pairing with a primary U-lock or chain lock for the frame, a saddle leash or bolt-on saddle anchor, a helmet lock loop, and a second cable lock if securing multiple quick-release components simultaneously.
